Transition Issues is a contemporary copymaster which encourages pupils to
consider various coping strategies when faced with personal andsocial issues
during the transition period
between primary and secondary education.  

 Features:

* social issues addressed include marital breakdown, death of a relative,
unacceptable personal behaviour,bullying
, peer pressure, drugs, and
acceptance of people with differences
* each section of the book covers one issue and includes teachers notes, two
fiction texts and six copymasters 
* realistic and emotive texts provide insight into problems, whilst
worksheets generate discussion
