Snapdragons offers a rich mix of different types of stories, from science fiction to fairy tales; fables to stories from around the world, there is something for everyone and it is all leveled to fit in with Oxford Reading Tree’s structure.
“An Old Red Hat!” 24pp – Ada finds some eggs that have been laid in an old red hat, and sells them to buy a present.
“Mr. Fox’s Socks” 16pp – Mr. Fox has some new socks but gives them away to a family of mice because he already has black socks of his own.
“No Problem!” 16 pp – Sami goes to the shop to exchange his coat for a different colour, but after he gets lost he decides to keep it.
“The Mouse with no Name” 24pp – The children find just the right name for the new pet mouse in the classroom. – after it has a lucky escape.
