A collection of games to help preschool children learn at home
This pack includes a fun-filled collection of games to help preschool children learn about letters of the alphabet, practise basic number and counting skills and learn about shape and colour.
Catch and Count
Spin the spinner to see how many fish you can catch, but do take care…there’s a shark out there! Players spin the spinner, count the bubbles and collect the matching cars on their fish board. But watch out – if you turn over a shark card it will eat all of your fish and you’ll have to start again. As they play, children will develop number and counting skills and can be encouraged to count the number of fish they can see out loud.
Alphabet Lotto
Learn the letters of the alphabet using pictures, letters and words in this fun lotto game. There’s hours of fun to be had with 4 ways to play; matching picture to picture, letter to picture, picture to letter or letter to letter! The different play styles encourage progressive learning as children develop their skills in phonics as well as alphabet and spelling.
Pizza, Pizza
Be the first to fill your pizza board in this fun shape and colour game. Spin the double spinner and choose a topping card by colour or shape – but watch out for the yucky toppings that will have to go in the bin!Practise letters of the alphabet with Alphabet Lotto
