Maths Games Galore

Maths Games Galore: each CD in the series combines digital and interactive
software to make learning new maths skills fun. Teachers are provided with
templates for easy-to-makemaths games
whilst providing pupils
with interactive reinforcement of key mathematical skills. Every game is played
by an identical set of rules and directions, making them easy for pupils to
navigate for group or independent work.

Numbers and Operations features:

* counting by ones up to 20
* recognising, representing and ordering numbers to 20
* connecting numbers to the quantities they represent using various physical
models and representations such as ten frames, tally marks and domino dots
* modelling simple addition and subtraction

* Ages 4-6
Number Sense and Place Value 1 features:

* using models to develop understanding of value and place-ten system
* representing and using whole numbers in flexible ways, including expanded
form
* recognising and naming fractions from 1/2 to 1 1/2
* recognising fractions of a whole and parts of a group
* Ages 7-8
Number Sense and Place Value 2 features:

* identifying the place value for each digit in numbers to 99,999
* using place value to read, write and describe the value of whole numbers to
99,999
* identifying and generating equivalent forms of whole numbers, including
expanded form
* rounding whole numbers through 9,999 to the nearest ten, hundred and
thousand
* Ages 7-8
