Mentoring Activities Box

The Mentoring Activities Box is a flexible, full colour resource designed for use with young people in a mentoring setting. It contains a pack of 44 illustrated cards, which are organised into sections to ensure flexibility and ease of use. Some of the topics included are; behaviour, bullying, friendship, body image and bereavement. The box works by allowing the child to write down information relating to a certain topic and then post it in the slot of the card. The mentor can then read the notes and outcomes can be discussed or simply evaluated. All of the resources can be used for any age group or ability as differentiation is determined by outcome. If pupils have difficulty with written tasks they can draw their thoughts and ideas.
