About the author:
Naomi Jonas started out in primary teaching before taking up Maths teaching and later HOD roles in a long stint at Spotswood College, where she worked until 2007. She is a two-time winner of the Ernest Duncan award for Teaching Mathematics (in 1985 and 2007), her most recent award having been made for her work producing resources on Literacy in Mathematics. She is married with 2 sons and her interests include many crafts, music and reading.
