A modern compact version of a clinometer, with no external moving parts. It has a combined sighting/ angle reading eyepiece. A viewing window on the side allows a second person to check the reading. This version eliminates the necessity to hold at arms length. Angles of a surface can be read in degrees followed by a plus or a minus to indicate an upward or downward slope, heights of objects can also be measured. Suitable for left or right handed use.
