Finding Your Way With Poetry has been written in two distinct parts. The first part focuses on building students’ confidence in the reading of poetry through process-based work. The second part focuses on students writing their own poems.
Featured poems have accompanying illustrations and each page is well-structured, with a ‘write-on’ format. Students are guided through a series of language activities designed to develop skill and increase self-confidence.

About the Author
Elody Rathgen has written widely on issues related to English teaching in Australia, New Zealand and the United States, and has also published many excellent classroom resources. She has a Ph. D. in Education and works as a university lecturer.
