100 Childrens Books To Read In A Lifetime

So many books, so little time. After much debate in our office we decided to compile our definitive list of top children's books. Our aim is to feature books which will inspire children to devour them--they might be funny, or exciting, or thought-provoking, or all of the above. These books will evoke a passion for reading which will last a lifetime: beginning when children have stories read to them, seeing them through their first chapter books, and beyond on their journey to adulthood. Our list features classic and modern titles and many of our selections are one of a wider series which we think children should explore. Hopefully our children will read many more than 100 books during their childhood-- but we nominated and debated and here is our list of favourites. What do you think? What would you change?
